MAZUR, Ida Mazur
Ida passed away peacefully on Friday June 6, 2025 at Lakeridge Heights Retirement Residence at the age of 94.

Beloved wife of the late Martin Mazur. Loving mother of Eva Mazur (Randy Hainer) and the late Margaret Mazur. Lovingly remembered by her niece Marian and the late Beata and great nieces Adrienne Barron (Bernie) and Deanna Dion (Chris) and their families.
Ida was predeceased by her siblings in Hungary.

Ida was a deeply independent and self-reliant woman, known for her love of home, her green thumb, and the joy she found in preserving the harvest. She took great pride in her cooking, always preparing meals with care and love for her family and friends. A true matriarch, Ida worked tirelessly, guided by her unwavering devotion to her family—who meant everything to her.

She found strength and purpose in feeding her loved ones, nurturing them not just with food, but with warmth, wisdom, and love. Her home was a place of comfort, togetherness, and tradition, where everyone felt cared for and connected.

Ida’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. It gave her strength, shaped her values, and guided her in everything she did. Her legacy is one of love, resilience, and devotion—a life centered on family, faith, and the simple joys of home.
