MAZZOTTA, Francesco Mazzotta

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Francesco (Frank) Mazzotta, who left us peacefully at home with his family by his side on October 29, 2025, at the age of 84.

Frank leaves behind his beloved wife Cotilda, with whom he shared 65 wonderful years of marriage, a true partnership built on love, devotion, and faith.

He was a loving father to Rosa, Scina (Randy), Sonni (Stephanie), Grace (Ernie), and Frank. A proud and devoted Nonno to Michaela (Mackenzie), Robert, Matthew, Jacob, and Nicholas. Cherished Great Nonno to Ellie, Leo, and Blake. Dear brother to Gino, and predeceased by his sister Maria.

Frank will be lovingly remembered by his many extended family members and countless friends whose lives he touched with his kindness, generosity, and warm spirit.

A Life Well Lived, Francesco was a hardworking and devoted family man whose life reflected his deep love for his family and his heritage. He took great pride in his hobby farm, where he grew vegetables and raised animals to provide for those he loved. Always busy and happiest outdoors, Frank found joy in working with his hands, caring for his land, and sharing the fruits of his labor.

A man of great skill and determination, he even built his own home – a place filled with love, laughter, and the aroma of home-cooked meals. He delighted in making soppressata and wine, carrying on cherished traditions and sharing them generously with family and friends.

Frank was known for his friendly nature and love of company. He enjoyed visiting with friends, taking trips to Italy to see family, and was never happier than when surrounded by loved ones. He also had a special fondness for his Chevrolet pickup trucks, which he proudly maintained and admired.

Later in life, Frank and Cotilda purchased a family cottage, where they spent many joyful days by the water, relaxing and enjoying the company of their children and grandchildren.

A Family Man Above All, Francesco’s greatest joy came from his family. He was immensely proud of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He loved to spend time with them – babysitting, cheering them on at hockey and sports games, and taking part in every special moment he could. His presence was a constant source of love, strength, and encouragement.

Frank was an outstanding husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. His dedication to his family, his work ethic, and his kind heart will forever remain an inspiration to all who knew him.

Forever in Our Hearts, Francesco Mazzotta’s legacy is one of love, family, and hard work. His spirit will continue to live on through the generations of those he loved and who loved him so deeply. He will be remembered always – with gratitude, pride, and endless affection.
