McCAHILL, Geraldine ‘Jerry’ – Peacefully at North Lambton Lodge on October 4, 2015.

Predeceased by her parents David and Lillian Newton, sister Marie Prout and her husband Alvin (Tiny) McCahill (1998). Survived by son Ted (Janis) and daughter Jo-Ann Smith (Ross) Also survived by grandchildren Scott Smith (Cherie), Chris Arsenault (Jon), Denny Smith (Shaya), Jace McCahill (Lindsey) and Jessie Atkins (MJ) Jerry is also survived by 9 loving great grand children. Beloved sister of Irene Otten (Bud) and Norma Gage (Jack) and her loving partner Ray Ferguson.

Our Mom loved the colours pink and blue, walks, birthday lunches with the sisters, playing cards with friends, country rides, her coffee at the Huron Cove, and the little town of Forest. For many years Jerry and Tiny operated “Cherry Ridge Fruit Farm” on Beechwood Avenue in Forest.

Friends and relatives will be received at Denning’s of Forest, 9 James Street South in Forest, Ontario on Wednesday, October 7 at 1:00pm. The Funeral Service will be conducted by Rev. Joanne MacOdrum at 2:00pm.  Burial to follow.  Friends and family will be received at St. James Presbyterian Church, 19 Main Street in Forest following the burial.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. James Presbyterian Church or charity of choice.
