MCCALLUM, David William McCallum – Obituary

MCCALLUM, David William – (BEd. & BSc.) – David passed away suddenly at his home in Cobourg on Friday, September 25, 2015.

Dearly loved and devoted dad to his beautiful children, Dane, Alex and Ellianne. 

Loving son to Eleanor (Dobbie) and the late Donald McCallum. 

Precious brother to Cathy and her husband Michael Molnar and uncle to Deanna and Kevin. He will be fondly remembered by his aunts and uncles, Sheila and the late Gordon Bundy, Pete and Marg Conley, Lillian and Fred Hopkins, Diane and Dominic Sassi, Beverly Patterson and Tom and Marlene Clark. 

Dave will also be missed by his many cousins and special friends Mickey, Sam and Royston. 

Dave graduated from Grantham High School in St. Catharines, Trent and Queen’s University with honours and received his Bachelor of Education. All of Dave’s teaching career was spent in the Cobourg High schools. 

Dave was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing baseball, hockey and badminton.

A memorial service will be held in Trinity United Church, Cobourg on Wednesday, September 30th at 4 pm.  Cremation with interment at a later date.
