MCCORMICK, Keith Joseph McCormick

In loving memory of Keith McCormick, 89, who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.

Survived by his wife Anne (nee Hermer), father of Daniel, Susan, Gail (predeceased), John, and Kenneth. Grandfather to Sophie, Aidan, and Gabriel. Survived by brothers Brendan wife Maureen (predeceased) and Frank wife Rosemary, and sister Mary Jane husband Les Watts. Predeceased by sister Joan and brothers Terry, Bob, and Michael. Special sisters-in-law Carol, Diane, and Jan (predeceased).

A life long Roman Catholic he was involved in various parish ministries at Holy Trinity Parish including taking Communion to the shut-in of the parish and patients in the hospital. He served on the Parish Council at Holy Trinity and Christ the King Parish. He was especially adamant about life issues. A Northern Ontario representative on the national board of Campaign Life Coalition as well as on the executive of Sudbury Right to Life. He helped out Fr. Caswell on the Diocesan Newsletter and on the board of Mass for the shut-ins. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th degree and a member of the Holy Trinity Men’s Club. He worked at the Sudbury Star from 1977 until retirement in 2001.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16th, 2026, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral mass in Christ the King Church on Tuesday, March 17th, 2026, at 10:00am.
