MCCRIKARD, Donna McCrickard

July 17, 1938 - September 5, 2025

Beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, left this world peacefully on September 5, 2025, at Humber River Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on July 17, 1938, Donna touched the hearts of those around her with her warm spirit and caring nature.

She dedicated much of her career to her work at CIBC. Beyond her professional life, Donna co-founded the Amesbury Sports Club Ladies Auxiliary, showcasing her passion for community involvement and support.

Donna was especially proud of her role as “hockey meemaw,” a title earned through her unwavering dedication to sponsoring her grandsons’ hockey team and being deeply involved in his sporting activities. Her love for her family and their interests truly shone through in everything she did.

She leaves behind her loving sons, Scott (Noreen) and Ryan (Amanda), who will carry her memory forward, and her cherished grandson Seth, as well as many other step-grandchildren who adored her. Donna’s family was her world, and her love will continue to resonate within their hearts.

Donna is now reunited with her parents, the late Harry and Viola McMartin, her brothers, the late Billy, Ronnie, and Frankie, as well as her beloved uncle and aunt, the late Pete and Margaret Titanic. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her.

A visitation will be held at Ward Funeral Home – Weston Chapel on September 20, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM to celebrate Donna’s wonderful life.

Her spirit will always be remembered by her family and friends, as they carry forward the kindness, joy, and love she shared with everyone around her.
