This decision sparked an incredible new chapter—David arrived at Toronto’s Pearson Airport in the fall of 1967, ready to embrace all that lay ahead.
At Hydro Place, in an office overlooking University Avenue, David not only built his career but also created joyful memories, watching Santa Claus parades with his children from his workplace window in the mid-70s. His work with Ontario Hydro took him across Canada and even to the United States, fueling his sense of purpose and achievement.
David’s dedication to service continued beyond Hydro One. He contributed his skills to the CNIB and the University of Toronto, and generously supported fellow engineers from abroad in preparing for Canadian certification exams. His professional life was a source of pride and fulfillment.
