MCKAY, Robert “Bob” James McKay

Passed away on Wednesday, January 28,2026 after many complications with an illness. Bob was born in Toronto and had three sisters Sandra, Sharon, Kathy and a brother named Tim who passed away in infancy.

He was known to family as R.J, Rob and dad, to friends as Bob and to grandchildren as Grandpa & Poppi. Bob was a man of faith and a real family man. He leaves behind his wife of fifty years Janice, and his three children Ryan, Kerri-Lee and Sarah along with his four grandchildren Avery, Kyra, Colby and Kit.

Bob was known as a real people person, one who had a great sense of humour and who loved the outdoors whether that was playing his favourite sports; golf and tennis, or enjoying a nice campfire with his family and friends. Bob loved entertaining everyone with his stories, jokes, songs, impressions and dance moves. He had many hobbies such as photography and woodworking.

He was loved dearly and will be missed by all who knew him.
