MCKEEN, Joyce McKeen

Passed away peacefully at Lee Manor Long Term Care on April 7, 2026. Born on August 19, 1930, Joyce Olive McKeen (nee Cook) of Owen Sound, was in her 96th year.

Beloved wife of the late Lorne McKeen. Loving mother of Bonnie Walker of Newmarket, and Brenda Dailey of Owen Sound. Cherished grandma of Jennifer Wilson (Paul), and Denise Thomson (Brandon), and great grandma of Alexa, Easton, Cora and Levi. Dear sister of Mary Hodgson (Ken) and sister-in-law Marlene Cook. Joyce will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Predeceased by her parents George and Dorothy (nee Yeoman) Cook, siblings Marguerite McNabb (Alex), Murray Cook, Bernice Cook, her sister-in-law Noreen Dillabough (Bev), and by her sons-in-law Don Walker and Dave Dailey.

A special thank you to the compassionate staff at Lee Manor and Kelso Villa Nursing Homes for the care of Joyce over the years.

A funeral service to celebrate Joyce McKeen life will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Monday April 13, 2026, at 1:00 pm, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.
