MCKINNON , Hilda McKinnon (née Leroux)

Of St. Thomas, ON, formerly of Ottawa, passed away at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, on Thursday, August 21, 2025, in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Cameron McKinnon (2003). Proud mother of Trevor McKinnon, and Jody McLaughlin (Ken). Cherished grandmother of Avery, Indiana, and Emerson McLaughlin. Dear sister of Mona O’Connor (late Gerry), Vivian Poirier (late Laurier), Anna Mae Blank (late Kevin), and the late Earl Leroux (Patricia).

Born in Apple Hill, ON, January 5, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Edmund and Clara Leroux. Relatives and friends will be received by the family on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 5:00–8:00 pm at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160). The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 1:00 pm. Cremation to follow.
