MCLINCHEY, Donald Mark McLinchey

With heavy hearts, the family of Donald “Mark” McLinchey announces his passing on February 12, 2026, at the age of 49.

Mark was the loving and devoted dad to his greatest joy, Sophia. He was the cherished son of Ron and Pam McLinchey, and the beloved brother of Mike (Jill), his twin Chris (Sarah), and Julie. He was the fun, involved, and deeply adored uncle to Brayden, Bexley, Lauren, Nicole, Alyssa, and his best bud Lucas.

Mark will be fondly remembered by Sophia’s mother, Michelle, as well as Jolene and her girls. He is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and an extended circle of people who cared for him.

Mark was known for his humour, loyalty, and the easy way he connected with others. He had many friends and was simply fun to be around—someone who could fill a room with laughter and make everyone feel welcome. Above all, he was deeply loved by his family and friends, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Mark’s life was far too short, but it was filled with love, warmth, and moments that his family and friends will always treasure.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 3pm-7pm, at Denning’s of Parkhill.

A second visitation will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 10am until the time of Funeral Service at 11am, at Denning’s of Parkhill. A private family interment will follow, as guests are invited to make their way to the Parkhill Legion for a reception.

Donations in Mark’s memory may be made to the Trauma Centre at Victoria Hospital, London, Ontario.
