It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Cheryl following a brief battle with cancer.
Best friend and wife of the late Ronald. Loving step mother to Jennifer Lachance (Daniel) and David (Melinda) and mother to Michael (Kristen) and Adam (Nicole).
Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Winnie Kozachok of Winnipeg, and by her in-laws Ralph and Marjorie of Stirling.
Sister to Ronald Kozachok. Sister-in-law to Jane Nicol (Richard) and Bruce (Betty).
Proud Baba (Grandmother in Ukrainian) to Michael, Erika, Carter, Kiera, Gabriella, Daniel, Kaitlyn and Abigail. Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at 1:00-4:00 pm with special words of remembrance at 2:00 pm. Interment at a later date in Stirling, On.
As expressions of sympathy, Cheryl has requested that donations be directed to the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO).
