MCPHAIL, Hugh William McPhail

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Hugh William McPhail at St. Joseph’s Villa, on October 12th, 2025, at the age of 97.
Loving husband of the late Hazel McPhail (nee Laverty). Beloved step-father of the late Dennis Laverty (Carolyn) and late Bruce Laverty (Judy). Cherished brother of late Teresa Casey (Dan). Hugh is predeceased by his parents George and Isabelle McPhail, and by his siblings Donald (Edith), Bruce DI, Joseph (Evelyn), Leo (Gwenn). Hugh will also be missed by Sean, Leanne, Jason, Kim, Kristy, and the late Kerry and late Kelly.
As per Hugh’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private interment of ashes will take place at St. Columban’s Cemetery at a later date.
