It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Robyn Medicine on February 9, 2025.

Robyn was a proud member of the “Makwa” (Bear) clan and deeply committed to her Anishinaabe culture.

A dedicated leader in reconciliation, she played an instrumental role at the Thunder Bay Public Library, establishing Indigenous Knowledge Centres.

A visitation will be held on February 21, 2025, at Blake Funeral Chapel, with a traditional burial on February 22 in Mitaanjigamiing First Nation.
