MEILLEUR , Jeannine Meilleur (née Fournier)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeannine Meilleur (née Fournier) on Wednesday, July 16th, 2025 at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Center at the age of 88 years.

She is survived by her children Michel (Louise St-Denis), Claude (Marnee Clement), Lise McCourt (Howard), Pierre (Julie), and Lynne Martel (Alain), along with 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her brother Rheal Fournier (late Judy).

Jeannine was predeceased by her parents Léon and Emma Fournier (Derouin) and her siblings Adrien (Eleanor) and Claudette Fournier.

Honoring Jeannine’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will take place at a later date.

In honor of her memory, the family invites you to consider making a contribution to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
