MELO, Vincenzo ‘Vince’ Melo Obituary

MELO, Vincenzo ‘Vince’– Passed away peacefully on September 28, 2015 surrounded by his family at 94 years of age.

Beloved husband to Isabella for 68 years. Loving father to Donna and husband John Marra, Maria Melo. Vince’s pride and joy was his grandchildren whom will miss him dearly. Loving Nonno to Dianne Peretto, John Marra, Vincent Marra, and Tony Marra. Great grandfather to Mathew Marra, Sydney Peretto and Steven Marra. Predeceased by his parents Domenica, and Luigi and his brother Francesco (Argentina). Survived by his sister Saveria Piccolo (Italy).

Vince was born in Italy and came to Canada in 1951. He worked for the city of Hamilton in the Street and Sanitation Department, and retired in 1986 as a general foreman. Member of the Giovanni Caboto Club of Windsor.

Families First, 3260 Dougall Avenue in South Windsor, Ontario will host visiting on Friday, October 2 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 4:30 p.m.

Funeral service on Saturday, October 3 at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. then going to Corpus Christi Church, 1400 Cabana Road W. in Windsor for funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombent to follow.
