MELS, Fergie Mels

Peacefully at his home on Friday, December 5, 2025. Fergie Mels, of Burford, in his 88th year. Beloved Husband of Betty (nee O’Brien) for 43 years. Loving Dad of Anita (Dave) Bolt, Michele (Dave), Ray (Jody), Tony (Gillian) Southwell, and Jeanette Southwell. Proud Grandpa of Joe, Chris, Nick, Dylan, Kyle, Amber-Rae, Curtis, Nathan, David and numerous great-grandchildren. Also survived by his brother Maurice (Peggy) Mels, sisters Violet (Ray) Bozek and Virginia (the late Bill) Born and sister-in-law Shirley Mels. Predeceased by his sons; Leo (2019) and Lee (2019) and brother Louie (2023). Fergie will be sadly missed by his beloved furry-friend Archie and his family and friends.
