MENARD, Raymond Menard

Raymond “Blackie” Menard passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, on Wednesday July 30, 2025. He was 77 years young. Raymond was the son of the Late Clifford and Olive Menard. He is survived by his brothers Joseph Menard and Darrel Heideman (Penny) as well as his sister Brenda Brown, and their sisters-in-law Marion and Debbie. He was a beloved uncle to one niece and many nephews.

Raymond was predeceased by his sister Annette (late Elson Weddeler), his brothers David, Dennis and Robert Menard as well as his brother-in-law Donald Brown.

Raymond gained the nickname “Blackie” over his 45 years of service printing the Eganville Leader newspaper.

There will be a graveside service held on Wednesday August 6, 2025 at St. James Cemetery at 1:00pm with Fr. Michael Lund celebrating the life of Raymond.
