The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Friday August 1, 2025 at the age of 49 years. Daughter of John Merrigan (Stephenville, Newfoundland) and the late Shirley (née Fielding) of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Loving mother of Tylor Merrigan. Sadly missed by her sweet nephews Avontae, Trevor, Jody, Zack, nieces little Raelynn, Jessica, Brittney, Courtney, Aubry, and her step-children Christopher, Chelsea, and Nick. Dear sister of Margeurite Merrigan-Lafleur, brother David Merrigan, as well as her step-sister Candy.

She will never be forgotten by many friends and family. She will forever be thought of, spoken of and dearly loved by all including her son’s best friend “Favorite Boy” Patrick Robert as she called him.

A celebration of life will held privately by the family on August 23, 2025. Funeral arrangements in care of the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home and Crystal Crematorium, Sturgeon Falls. Donations to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation Canada would be greatly appreciated.
