MESHAKE, Thomas Meshake

The family of the late Thomas Meshake is heartbroken to announce his unexpected passing on Sunday December 28, 2025 in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

Thomas was born in Geraldton, ON, to parents Ambrose Meshake, JR and Susan Megan. He grew up in and around Murky Creek along side his brothers and sisters.

Thomas will forever be remembered for his love and dedication to family and friends, dedication to his traditional values, his care towards his children and his grandchildren, to his drum Eagle Boy, and his travels to powwows.

Thomas is already missed by his children Pam (Anthony), Nate (Steph), Jen and all his grandchildren – Tylor, Ethan, Matthew, Keegan, Kaylie, Rosie and Julia. He will also be missed by his extended powwow family and friends.

Thomas is predeceased by his parents Ambrose Meshake, Susan Megan/Meshake, Rose Moses, Patrick Meshake and Janet Meshake.

We would like to thank his special friend cousin Stuart Yapput, and his favorite nurse Spencer.

A wake service to honour and remember Thomas will be held from Friday January 2, 2026 4:00pm, until Saturday January 3, 2026 at 3:00pm, in the Fort William First Nation Gymnasium, Rink 2, 200 Mission Road.

Cremation will follow.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Everest Funeral Chapel, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma.
