MILLAR, Robert William James “Bob” – Of Belleville, entered into rest peacefully surrounded by his family at his residence on Tuesday, September 29, 2015, in his 72nd year.

Dear son of the late James Millar & the late Lillian Millar (nee Cox).

Beloved husband and best friend of Mary “Joanne” Millar (nee Sherwin).Cherished father of Jim Millar (Jody) of Brighton, Guy Millar (Debra), and Derek Millar (April) of Belleville.

Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren; Chantelle, Samantha, Patricia, Jordan, Jayden, Jakob, and Madison; and by his great grandchildren; Frederick and Natalie.

Dear brother of Ann Cassibo (the late Eric) of Belleville, Jean Lush (the late Bill) of Millbrook, Deborah Sherwin (Glenn) of Roslin and Gavin Millar (Debbie) of Peterborough.

Bob will be missed by the Sherwin family and his many nieces and nephews.

He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 99, The Army Navy Air Force, Unit 201, and he was Past Master of the Masonic Lodge, Tweed Chapter.

In keeping with Bob’s wishes, cremation to take place.Visitation will be held at STEELE FUNERAL HOME, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West Belleville on Thursday from 2.00 to-4.00 p.m. and 6:00  to-8:00 p.m. A Memorial Service to be held in the Chapel on Friday, October 2, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Cathy Russell Officiating. Reception will follow at the Steele Family Centre.  Interment of Cremains will be at Thomasburgh.

If desired, Memorial Donations to Q.H.C. Belleville General, Oncology Department would be appreciated by the family.
