MILLEN, Donelda Eleanore Millen

She was the beloved daughter of the late Stanley and Agatha (Willie) Kennedy. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Harry Millen. Together, they built a life full of love and cherished memories.She was the cherished and loving mother of Wayne Millen (Elaine) and Darlene MacDonald (Gary), and a devoted grandmother to Charlotte, Ashley (Mike), Amy (Nick), Kyla (Eric), and Tyler. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Claire, Connor, Luca, Liam, Logan, and Seth. Donelda’s family meant the world to her, and she took great joy in hosting family gatherings, where her warmth and hospitality made everyone feel at home.Donelda was the last surviving member of her immediate family, having been predeceased by four brothers and one sister. She had a remarkable memory, which she maintained until her final days. Known for her determination and a touch of stubbornness, she was a woman of great strength and character. Donelda loved to garden and had an impeccable green thumb, growing beautiful plants that were admired by all. Her creativity also extended to her hobbies, where she enjoyed making ceramics, crocheting, and, of course, making the best deviled eggs around.Donelda’s legacy of love, strength, and joy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by her family and friends.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of her life will be held at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg, on Monday, February 16, 2026, from 1 – 4 p.m. with words of remembrance spoken at 3 p.m. Spring interment will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Teeswater.
