on September 17, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones

Your life was a blessing and your memory a treasure.
You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.

Dar had a passion for life. Always bringing colour into our world. She volunteered at Elliot Fairbairn Public School for many years. She enjoyed teaching younger generations skills of life. She enjoyed baking, painting or any craft she seen she would make her own. Her talents were endless. She made our home a home.

Survived by her husband Jean “John” Deckers; sons Cory Gibson (Ashley Crabb) and Ryan Gibson (Morgan Underhill); step daughter Jessica Roy (Trevor); grandchildren Abigail, James, Jaden, Logen, Conner, Austin, Mandi, Alex, Alyss; great grandchildren Jayse, Mavis and Alivia. Also survived by her sisters Linda Walker (Allan), Brenda Miller and by brothers Ed and Jim Miller and by many nieces and nephews and also by her beloved pets.

Predeceased by her parents Frank A .and Helen L. (Burke) Miller, also by 5 brothers and 1 sister.
