Miller: Judith Ann (née Murray) – A resident of Thamesville, Judith Miller passed away at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Saturday, August 2nd, 2025 at the age of 73. Born in London, she was the daughter of the late Robert (Bruce) and Mary (Betty) (nee Brennan) Murray.
Beloved wife of 53 beautiful years to Warren Miller. Forever remembered by her children, Martha Nicholls (Jeff), Brenna Bellan (Steve), Kate Brenders (Geoff) and Charlie Miller (Naomi). Predeceased by her infant son, Warren. Gogi is forever loved by her grandchildren: Andrew, Sarah, Clark, Max, Sam, Finn, Abbey, Audrey, & Jonathan.
Dear sister of Cathy Roberts, Patty Murray, Laurie Jefferson (Chuck) and Tom Murray. Predeceased by brothers, Bill Murray, Richard Murray, & Shaughnessy Cohen (the late Jerome). Survived by in-laws, Phoebe Murray, Allan Miller (Lauretta), Marion Miller (Doug Bale), Alex Miller (Darlene), Ross Miller (Mary Jane), Shirley Michel (Paul) & Lisa Bedford (the late Kevin). Missed by many nieces, nephews & extended family.
Judi and Warren were the proud owners of Miller Home Hardware in Thamesville for 20 years, following a dedicated life of farming. Judi was a woman of many passions—she found great joy in sewing, quilting, and camping with her family. She especially cherished attending quilting retreats with her close friends. Judi had a warm and generous spirit and loved hosting movie nights for her grandchildren and extended family.
A Memorial Service for Judi will take place on Saturday, August 9th, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. Paul’s Church, 5 Alice St., Thamesville. Burial to follow at St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery, Thamesville. A Celebration of Judi’s Life will follow at McKinlay Reception Centre, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Words of Remembrance will be held at 2:30 pm.
Donations made in memory of Judi to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation, St. Paul’s Church in Thamesville or Head and Neck Above Cancer would be appreciated by the family.
