Betty Doreen Mills (Brookfield). Born in Ingersoll on December 7, 1933 to Roy Brookfield (deceased,1987) and Jean Brookfield nee Mackay (deceased,1953). Died at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Woodstock, on August 5, 2025 at 91 years old.

Spouse of Harold Sydney Mills (deceased, 1997). They were married on June 7, 1952. Mother of Joyce (deceased, 2016), David and Bill. Grandmother of Christine and Jeannie Peachy – Jeff (Mansfield), Bill, Tracy and Nathan Mills. Great-Grandmother of Jolina McMillan and Charlie Kitching.

Predeceased by sisters Donna (2007), Marlene (2015), Alice (1995) and brother Charles (2022). Also predeceased by stepmother Fern nee Piet (1998).

A Memorial Service will be conducted at the Christ Church Anglican Chapel of Ease, 256554 Sunova Crescent, Lakeside, on August 14, 2025 at 11 am. Interment in Christ Church Anglican Cemetery following.
