TRYON, Miriam Ruth  –   OUR SHINING STAR

It is with sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Ruth, on October 10, 2023 in Toronto. 

She was born in Windsor to Sarah and Stanley McQueen; and older sister, Helen.

Wife to John Orville Tryon (deceased 2008); mother to Candice and Patrick (Bonnie); and grandmother to Veronica.

The family travelled extensively through Europe and the Middle East and lived in Iran for many years while John worked for Ontario Hydro.

In her retirement years, Ruth enjoyed curling, cottaging and vacations in Florida.

She endured the effects of dementia and a stroke with serenity and bravery.

We remember her with fondness and with love.

Private service as per her wish.
