TENHUNEN, Mirja Ida Maria Tenhunen

TENHUNEN, Mirja Ida Maria (nee JAATINEN)   –  On July 12, 2023, Mirja found her final peace in the arms of Jesus.

She was 93 years old.

Mirja was the beloved wife of Vaino for 67 years; the mother of Helena and Timo; mother-in-law to Fritz; and proud grandmother of Erik Schmitt, Austin, Samantha, Colby and Joanna Tenhunen.

A Memorial Service will be held at Agricola Finnish Lutheran Church, North York, on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.   Visitation for an hour prior to the Service. An informal lunch of coffee and pulla will be held after the Service at church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Agricola Lutheran Church.
