MONAHAN, Mitchel – At the age of 27 years passed away suddenly on Monday, October 5, 2015 after a 2 1/2 year battle with cancer.

Mitch was a loving son to Michael and Suzette, brother to Chantal (Darren Martin) and nieces Lauren and Sydney.

He leaves behind a beloved girlfriend Jade Vandenenden and many close friends; Grandparents John and Millie Monahan, Paul and Diane Breeding and numerous aunts , uncles and cousins.

Mitch was a proud, hardworking Journeyman Ironworker of Local 736, Hamilton and a member of I/W Motorcycle Club. He will be greatly missed by all.

Special thanks to Dr. Eric Irvine and all the First Responders that did all they could to resuscitate Mitch and their compassion to our family. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at Wild Wing, 248 Lynden Road on Friday from 7 pm. A Memorial Reception will be held at the Charing Cross Reception Suites adjacent to the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford, ON on Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 1-3 pm.
