MITCHELL , Sylvia Mitchell

It is with great sadness that the family of Sylvia Isobel Rose Mitchell, born in Toronto, Ontario, announce her peaceful passing on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at the age of 90.

Affectionately remembered as Mum/Nana/Gigi by her children: Leslie and Sean Burrows, Lisa Rowe, Robert Rowe, and Tammy Shane; grandchildren: Nick and Naz Burrows, Alan Burrows, Kyle Clifford, Cory Clifford, Callum and Meghan Rowe, Jessie Rowe, AJ Rowe, and Henry Rowe; great-grandchildren: Leo Burrows, Jordan Clifford, and Lukas Clifford. Special family additions include Sydney Alessi, Danielle Parker, Sabrina Cameron, and Merick Miller.

Mum enjoyed traveling, gardening, reading, and decorating. She appreciated the many years she worked for the Canada Centre for Inland Waters as a secretary in Technical Operations, often sharing fond memories of her colleagues there. Forever in our hearts. Cheers to SIR!
