MOORE, LLoyd Davis Moore

Passed peacefully in his 90th year on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, at Brantford General Hospital.
Lloyd was a lifelong member of the Waterloo Region and Brant County farming communities and was the heart and soul of Moore Farms (Ayr, ON) for decades. His love of the land, animals, antique farm equipment and tractors was evident to all who knew him. Lloyd enjoyed restoring vintage International Harvester vehicles and could been seen touring to check out the crops in his treasured 1951 L110 “Blue Jewel” and 1961 Scout. He was a proud 4-H leader and a member of the Beef Club, Cattlemen’s Association, Glen Morris United Church, and the Glen Morris Couples Club. Lloyd also volunteered his time for many years with the Glen Morris Cemetery Board. He was an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan, “strategic” Euchre player, and Canadian history enthusiast.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Barbara (née McAllister, 2023), and his brothers Robert (Patricia) and Wallace (Joyce). Proud and loving father to the late David (Cindy), Alan (Nancy), Nancy Easton (Rob), and Ross (Karen). Cherished Papa to 9 grandchildren and Great-Papa 7 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held, with interment at Glen Morris Cemetery.
In lieu of Flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Glen Morris United Church.
