Dianne Ada Moores (formerly Michaelis, née Richards) passed away into the arms of Jesus on April 22, 2025, at Lakeridge Health Hospital, Bowmanville, after a brief illness.

Dianne was predeceased by her husbands, Eric Moores (2015–2021) and Dawson Charles Michaelis (1947–2007), her sister June and brother-in-law Alex Cosens, her brother George and sister-in-law Gloria Richards, her nephew Mark Cosens, and her parents George and Alice Richards.

She is lovingly remembered by her niece Carol Cosens and her family, nephew Eric Cosens and his wife Lorrie and their family, and nephew Steven Richards and his wife Jane and their family. Dianne will also be fondly remembered by her extended family, her friends from the former St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church in Oshawa, and her neighbours in Wilmot Creek, Newcastle.

Visitation will be held at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, 53 Division Street, Bowmanville, on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.

If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Arthritis Society would be appreciated by the family.
