Lucy “Anne” Moreland, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2024, in her hometown of Wallaceburg, Ontario. Born on October 14, 1941, Anne was deeply loved and will be remembered through cherished memories shared by her family.

She is survived by her cherished children: Colleen (Dale) Aitken, Janet Barrett, Nancy (Lee) Foster, her grandchildren Jennifer (Mike) Delrue, Tanya (Brent) Chatterton, Joel (Seneca) Barrett, Zachary (Elaine) Barrett, Owen Foster, and Emily Foster, and her great-grandchildren Wesley Chatterton, Elizabeth Chatterton, and Viola Barrett. She is also survived by her brother Ralph (Linda) Belanger and in-laws Gary Moreland, Sally Erison, and Willard Gillis, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Anne is reunited with her beloved husband, Richard Moreland, her brother Gerald Belanger, and her parents Beulah and Dona Belanger. She will be fondly remembered for her love of family gatherings, her radiant joy in becoming a great-grandmother, and her generous and loving spirit.

Visitation will take place at Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will follow on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church, with interment at Riverview Cemetery in Wallaceburg.
