MORRELL , Lindsay Leigh Morrell(née Bowley)

It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Lindsay Morrell (née Bowley), on Friday, August 8, 2025, at the age of 44.

Lindsay had recently returned to her hometown of London, Ontario, after spending the past decade in California. She, her husband Jon, their 10-year-old son Logan, and their beloved dog Blue, made the move to be closer to family—especially her mother, Margaret. Lindsay was joyfully reconnecting with her roots, cherished friends, and loved ones.

Lindsay was vibrant, laughed unabashedly, and found joy in crocheting, cooking for others, baseball, her family and friends, children, and especially dogs. She had an unmatched joy for life.

Lindsay will be deeply missed by her husband Jon, their cherished son Logan, her mother Margaret, sister Melissa Chalmers (Mike), sister-in-law Erin Miner (Glen), brother-in-law Jamie Finnigan (Alex), many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members, and all who were fortunate to know her in any season of life.

Lindsay is predeceased by her father, Peter Bowley.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London, Ontario (between Waterloo & Colborne St.) on Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday, August 15, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

A Celebration of Lindsay’s Life will be held in the Logan Chapel on Friday, August 15, 2025 at 1:00 p.m.

Inurnment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.

A tree will be planted, by the Logan Funeral Home, as a living memorial to Lindsay Leigh Morrell.

Whether on the ball field, crochet hook in hand, or in the quiet ways she cared for all living things, she left her mark – and it was always with love.
