With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Linette Loretta Morris, who peacefully passed away with her loved ones by her side at Scarborough Centenary Hospital on Monday, March 24, 2025. Linette was a devoted mother to Andrea, Mark (Narda), Sophia (Mark), and Marvin (Georgia). She was also a proud grandmother, a loving sister, and a cherished aunt to many.

Linette was a retired registered nurse at Centenary Hospital, where she dedicated her life to caring for others. Her selfless commitment extended beyond her work, as she volunteered her time and expertise to support those in need, both in Canada and Jamaica. Her grace, strength, intelligence, and boundless love will always be remembered. She found joy in cooking, traveling, shopping, and spending precious moments with her family and friends.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses, and PSWs on the 9th floor of Centenary Hospital for their compassionate care and support during her final days.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery (21 Garrard Road, Whitby, north of Hwy 2) on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 5–8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 11 a.m., followed by interment at Mount Lawn Cemetery.
