MORRISON, Margaret Morrison

It is with profound sorrow we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Margaret Lois Theresa Crozier- Morrison in her 79th year. She was born in Orillia, Ontario to Jack and Rose Crozier and was predeceased by her sisters Jean and Mary. Margaret grew up in Dorset, Ontario on Lake Of Bays and later made her way to Chatham, Ontario.

Margaret was the beloved wife of Dr. John Morrison and the proud mother of Kirk Berry, Andrew Berry, Paul Berry, Jacqueline Margaret Berry, Wayne Berry, and Angela (Berry) Butzer. She was endlessly proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nothing mattered more to her than the family she had built, knowing they were safe, supported, and loved. Margaret will be remembered for her fierce love, her intelligence, her loyalty and the way she made her family feel unbreakable. Mom was many things, brilliant, strong, sharp-witted, accomplished but above all, she was deeply devoted to her family.

Margaret was an accomplished businesswoman and smashed every glass ceiling put above her, both in government and real estate development.

A visitation will be held at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday, February 10th, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., for those wishing to pay their respects and support the family. Margaret will then be brought home to Dorset, where a funeral will be held on Friday, February 13th, 1:00pm at Knox United Church at 1012 Harvey Avenue right in the town of Dorset.

In lieu of flowers, Mom would love donations to be made in her memory to the Dorset Heritage Museum.
