MORRISON, Mavis Joy Morrison

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mavis Joy Morrison (nee Storey) in her 93rd year. Mavis was a faithful Christian, know for her loving and compassionate nature and her deep devotion to her family.

Mavis was the beloved wife of 63 years to the late Robert Vincent Morrison. She is predeceased by son Craig, parents Floyd and Helen Storey and brother Leone.

Mavis will be greatly missed by her sons Scott (Karen), Rob (Tracey); grandchildren Ryan (Meghan), Greg (Becca), Jeff (Mike) and Taylor; great-granddaughter Ella; sister Marie Ellis and aunts Audrey Matthews and Evelyn Storey. Mavis will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Many heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at Rideaucrest for their care and compassion over the past two years.

In keeping with Mavis’ wishes, a private family burial will be held at a later date.
