Peacefully at White Cliffe Terrace with family by her side and her beloved dog Molly on her lap, on Monday, October 27, 2025, in her 91st year. Loving mom of Carola Trolley (Barry) and Joseph VanPetten. Adoring Oma of Jennifer, Jessica (Wilson), Taylor (Olivia), Ben (Ashley), Adam (Kasandra) and loving Oma D to many great-grandchildren. Désirée will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends in Canada, Holland and Texas. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King Street East, Oshawa (905-433-5558). A Celebration of Désirée’s Life will be held in the funeral home on Monday, December 8, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Donations in memory of Désirée to The Refuge Youth Outreach Centre would be appreciated.
