KADWELL, Muriel ‘Smitty’ – It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of “Smitty” Muriel Kadwell on December 28th, 2015. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side at PRHC.

She was born on January 27, 1933 in Havelock, ON to Bernard & Amelia Smith.

She was the wife of Jake Kadwell, mother of Evelyn Parcells (Ed) & Michele Kadwell-Chalmers (John), grandmother of Jake Kadwell III (Krista), Clay Stokker (Melanie), and Kristi Stokker (Darcy), and great grandmother to Jake Kadwell IV.

She is also survived by her brother Jim Smith.

Funeral will be at Northview Community Church on Wednesday, December 30th. Visitation 1:30 – 2:30 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:30 pm.

She worked in the banking industry for 30 years, making many great friends along the way. She enjoyed travel, the beautiful beaches of Mexico and Florida, and riding with her husband on their motorcycles. She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
