Our father believed in hard work and loved his family more than life working tirelessly for each of us and leaving behind his strong values in all of us. He was very proud to have been a part of the Halifax Restoration Group for 11 years. He spent many years with the Trenton Stamp Club.

When mom was alive, they spent many years as members of the CFB Trenton Yacht Club, travelling, and dad always had a large garden to share with family and friends.

Murray retired as a MWO from the Canadian Armed Forces after 28 years and went on to fly commercially for 16 years; ending his career with Worldways in 1990.

The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to the many people in the community for their thoughtfulness and kindness in Dad’s last years. We are also grateful for the caring and compassionate staff at Crown Ridge Retirement Home and Maplewood Home Long Term Care.

Donations to the National Air Force Museum of Canada would be greatly appreciated in Murray’s memory.

Cremation has taken place and there will be a private family Interment held at Forestville at a later date.
