It is with great sadness the we, the family of Joe Mussel, wish to announce his peaceful passing, on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at Norview Lodge, Simcoe at the age of 79 years.

Much loved husband of Sharon (nee Armstrong) Mussel whom she married June 29, 1968. Dear father of Steve Mussel of Langton and Vicki & husband Paul Medeiros of Port Rowan. Sadly missed by his granddaughters Daisy and Zoe. Survived by his sister Joyce Granger of Port Rowan and sister-in-law Carol Anne Mussel of PEI and by several nieces and nephews.

Joe had two passions in life – his Family and Car Sales, having been involved in the car industry all his life.

Predeceased by his parents Joseph & Pearl (Towns) Mussel, brother Austin “Sonny” Mussel, sister Belva & husband Junior Deeg and brother-in-law John Granger.

Relatives and friends will be received for memorial visitation at the Jeffrey W Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front Rd. Port Rowan on Sunday, December 21, 2025 from 1-4pm. A Celebration of Joe’s life will take place downstairs of the Delhi German Hall on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 1-4pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Norfolk Haldimand Community Hospice would be appreciated by the family. Personal Condolences can be shared at www.gffh.ca
