MYERS, Daniel Charles Roy MYERS

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Daniel Charles Roy “Dan” Myers on November 28, 2025, at WRHN @ Queens (formerly St. Mary’s Hospital) in Kitchener.

Dan was the cherished father of Dani-Marie Myers and her husband Matt Schroth, and Stacy Campbell and a proud grandfather to Serenity Myers, Aubrey-Dakota Campbell, Annastacia Campbell, Wyatt, Emmett, and Beckett Campbell, all of whom brought him immense joy.

He will be deeply missed by his partner and devoted companion, Alice Wagner, whose presence brightened his days and shared in his love of life.

Dan is lovingly remembered by his mother Maureen (Burrell) Myers, brothers Lonnie Myers (Laura) and Bill Myers, and by his sister Cindy Ann (Myers) Boehm (Doug), by his step siblings Chris Boland, Judy Riley, and Terri Lynn Ziegler. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and countless friends whose lives he touched with his kindness and humour.

He was predeceased by his father William Charles; by his nephew Benjamin; by his sister Donna (Myers) Hyland and her husband Art; and by Dani-Marie and Stacy’s mother, Dawn Campbell and by his stepsister Cathy Burrell.

Dan lived a life full of curiosity, laughter, and heart. He loved tinkering and working on cars, and he found peace in camping, fishing, and spending time outdoors. Above all, Dan treasured moments spent with family and friends. Known for his playful nature, he delighted in being a lovable pest—especially with the dog—and he carried a warm, easygoing sense of humour that will forever be remembered.

Dan will be missed more than words can express, but the memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg, for a come and go visitation on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 2 – 4 p.m.
