LIDSTONE, Myrla Ruth Grace (nee Croteau) – Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family at the Central West Hospice, Ottawa on Thursday, December 24, 2015. Myrla Ruth Grace Lidstone (nee Croteau) in her 88th year.

Predeceased by her beloved husband George and infant son Christopher David. Cherished mother of Roy (Catharine) and Karen (John Harrison). Proud and deeply loved Grammy of Sarah, Mark (Jocelyn), Christopher and Trevor.

Dear sister of Carmen, Donna, and Mary (Trevor Axworthy). Fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Longtime member of Christ Church Cathedral.

Special thanks to Drs. Guy, Jonker, Hacker and Cross, Carefor home care PSWs and nurses, and the gentle staff and volunteers at Central West Hospice.

Friends are invited to visit at Christ Church Cathedral, Sparks Street, Ottawa, Ontario on December 30th from 10:45 am until time of Funeral Service at 12 noon followed by a reception in the Great Hall. Private interment of Myrla’s ashes will take place at Pinecrest Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to Christ Church Cathedral Restoration, or Doctors Without Borders would be appreciated.
