NACCI, Elisabetta Nacci
March 3, 1943 - April 4, 2026
Born on March 3, 1943 in Barisciano Italy, Lisa made the courageous journey to Canada with her husband Giulio in March of 1962, carrying with her the values of the land she came from, hard work, deep faith, and an unshakeable devotion to her family. She built a life rooted in those values, and her family and all who crossed her path were forever touched by her love.
Lisa lived a life of joy, love, compassion, and patience. She was the embodiment of strength and kindness, a pillar of courage and generosity to her family and those who knew her. Her calm demeanor put others at ease, yet beneath that stillness was a fierce and unwavering determination. Life’s challenges never broke her spirit; she faced each one with grace and unwavering resilience, carrying herself always with quiet dignity.
Elisabetta Nacci exuded a boundless warmth and love that was cherished by her family. She nurtured her family with unwavering support and joy, dedicating herself fully to their wellbeing, creating a home filled with love and warmth. Her generosity was not occasional – it was constant, instinctive, and deeply felt by all who were blessed to receive it.
Lisa was the steady heartbeat of her family — present, devoted, and selfless in the way that only the truly extraordinary are. It is a testament to the love she gave that in her final years, that same love was returned to her in full by her family.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Giulio Nacci, whose memory she always carried close to her heart. She is survived by her children, Peter Nacci, Gioena and husband John Schembri and grandson Gianluca — each of them a living reflection of the love she so freely gave throughout her remarkable life.
Joining her beloved husband in eternal rest, she was also predeceased by her parents, Nicola and Lucia Iagnemma, and her parents-in-law, Guerino and Elisa Nacci. She is lovingly remembered by her sisters Maria Zaccagnini (late husband Emilio) and Giuseppina Rossettini (late husband Verginio), her brother-in-law Tony Nacci and his wife Silvana, and her sister-in-law Gabriella Nacci, along with many dear nieces and nephews. We also hold close family and friends who were so fortunate to have had Lisa in their lives.
What Lisa leaves behind is not just a family, but a legacy of strength, of sacrifice, of resilience, and of the quiet, enduring power of a woman who loved without condition and gave without measure.
