With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mireille Marie Nayler, who left us peacefully on February 16, 2026, at the age of 65. A longtime resident of Courtice, Ontario, Mireille will be remembered for her quiet strength, laughter and sense of humour, deep faith, and the compassion she showed to everyone she met.
She was the beloved wife of Garry, her devoted partner in life and love. Mireille was a proud and caring mother to her daughters, Stephanie Sanders and her husband Jonathan, and Julie-Anne Nayler and her fiancé Michael. She is lovingly remembered by her grandson, Zachery Sanders.
Mireille was also a dear and loving sister to Monique Fuchs and her husband James; Francine Yasko and her husband Bill; Danielle Steenwinkel and her late husband Robert; Michelle Isogai and her husband Steve; and Sylvie Plante and her husband Mark Joly. She will be deeply missed by her extended family and many friends whose lives she touched in meaningful ways.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 22, at 1:30 p.m. at Courtice Funeral Chapel, 1587 Highway 2, Courtice, with visitation beginning one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be gratefully appreciated in Mireille’s memory.
