NAYLOR , Joan Marie butcher Naylor

Joan Marie Butcher (Naylor) is now in the arms of her Lord as of Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the age of 84.

Beloved spouse of 64 years to Glenn Butcher. Loving mother to Greg (Sharon), Jeff, and Gord (Kathy). Cherished grandmother to Sarah and Dylan, and great-grandmother to Eli.

Dear sister of Susan (Lloyd), Vicki (Bruce), and Karen, also sister-in-law to Mary, Lex, Wayne, Ruth, Laura, Keith, and Howard. She will be lovingly remembered by many extended family members of the Butcher and Naylor families, as well as many friends.

Joan was predeceased by her parents Henry and Hazel Naylor, her siblings Annie (Reg), Lois, Iris (Ken), Gloria, Donna, Marlene (Roly), Wilma (Dave), Barb (Merv), John, Kevin, as well as brother-in-law Allen, sister-in-law Rachael, and infant grandson Shadoe.

Joan was a long-time employee of WG Smith and Sons (then Service Ontario).

Family and friends will be received at the Arn-Lockie Funeral Home, 45 Main Street West, Norwich, ON, on Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm and Friday, August 15, 2025, from 10:00 – 10:45 am. Funeral service to follow at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home, Pastor Ron Mullin to officiate.

Donations in memory of Joan may be made to Missions at Cedar Street Community Church.
