NEGRAZIS, Al Negrazis
April 12, 1944 - November 30, 2025
It’s with broken hearts we announce that Al Negrazis passed away peacefully at The Village of Taunton Mills, Whitby on Sunday November 30, 2025. He is grieved by his wife, Ava Butler; his children, Ashley Negrazis (Sasha Singal), Lauren Negrazis (Sergio Raez Villanueva) and David Negrazis (Roxane Mirmiran); and by his recently born grandson, Colton Singal. He is predeceased by his parents, Adolf and Adele Negrazis, and by his siblings, including Albert, Lydia and Louie Negrazis. He is survived by his sister, Elma Schauffert, and by his many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
Al cherished his farm, which he transformed from a grassy plain to a beautiful property filled with all sorts of trees that he planted. When he wasn’t walking amongst his trees, the porch was his favourite spot to pass his time and admire the farm. He loved horses and spent countless hours riding. He often remarked that the greatest gift was his children, whom he had later in life after a career teaching and making a positive impact on the lives of Toronto students. Along with his children, he was proud of his Lithuanian heritage. Al was incredibly smart, a voracious reader, a gifted writer, and a collector of everything from high-end sports gear to fine clothing. He will be remembered for his strong moustache and his big personality.
Friends and family are invited to share memories and express condolences at www.lowandlow.ca. Al requested not to have a service. In lieu of a service, we invite you to plant a tree in his memory or to donate to the Salvation Army to help those in need.
