It is with saddened hearts that the family of Marigold Elizabeth Nehr Born April 2 1942. announce her passing on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at the age of 83.
Dearest wife of the late Michael Nehr for 57 years (2024). Cherished mother of Michael C. Nehr and his wife Christine. Adored grandmother of Brandon and Alexander.
Betty is predeceased by her parents Alexander and Mary Niven, and her in-laws Nicholas and Elizabeth Nehr. Brother inlaw Andrew Krumbacher and Sister inlaw Annie Krumbacher
Dear sister of Robert, Isabelle, Violet, Norma, and Alexander all of whom she will now be reunited with in heaven.
Survived by sister`s in laws Helen Miller and Janine Niven. Beloved aunt to Rebecca, Steven, Mark, David, James, Heather, Heath, Katy, Bobby, Betty,Irene,Christy and their families.
Beloved great aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Mom loved being with her family and loved attending family events. Summer time trips to Pine Lake.
Backyard bbqs and family reunions were never missed. Betty was a retired employee of the federal government of Canada Income security program.
Betty’s favorite past-time was enjoying classic movies and playing Bingo and slot machines. Mom is now reunited with the love of her life and many loved ones that have past on.
Special mention to the staff of Richmond Terrace, your kindness and care for mom in her final days was extrordinary. Special thanks to Krystal and Melissa.
Arrangements entrusted to Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234). A private family service will take place on February 3, 2026 with interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
