NEIL, Andrew Fleming Neil

Passed away suddenly on December 18th, 2025. His passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Andrew was a deeply loved son, brother, and family member. He leaves behind his devoted mother Bobbi-Jo Neil, his beloved sister Jenica Neil (Moe), and many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory. Andrew shared strong bonds with those closest to him, and his love for his family was evident in all that he did.

Andrew had a strong passion for martial arts and dedicated much of his life to judo and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, pursuits that reflected his discipline, determination, and respect for others. He also loved skateboarding, which brought him immense joy and freedom. Through these passions, Andrew built meaningful friendships and gained communities where he felt connected.

Andrew was known for his kind heart, loving nature, and goofy sense of humour. He was known to his friends and family as a “gentle giant”, lighting up any room he entered with his big personality, bright smile, and friendly nature. He had many friends and family members whom he loved deeply and who loved him just as much in return.

He will be remembered for his strength, his passions, and the genuine care he showed to everyone around him. Though his life was far too short, Andrew’s impact will live on in the memories and hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 18th from 1:00–4:00 PM at Fernhill Community Centre in Oshawa (144 Fernhill Blvd ). Anyone who cared for Andrew is encouraged to attend and show him just how deeply he is loved and missed.
