She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Finlayson (MacKenzie) and Roy Finlayson; and her sister Elizabeth Finlayson. She is survived by: her husband Bill Nelson of Lucknow; her children, Jonathan Nelson (Joan) of Lucknow and Sarah Emack (Sean) of Russell; her grandchildren, Jessica, Zoe Anne, William, Duncan and Beth; her sister-in-law Barbara Helm (Art) of Lucknow; and her sibling’s children, Denise Helm (Noel Hill) and Robert Helm. She is also survived by 5 great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Huron Hospice or the Wingham Hospital Foundation are greatly appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
