NERI, Nina Neri

Nina was the devoted wife of the late Luigi Neri Sr., and the heart of their home. Together, they built a beautiful life grounded in love, hard work, and family — values that shaped every part of their lives and those of their children.

She was the cherished mother of Silvana (Angelo) Gabrielli, Leo Neri, Luigi Jr. ( (Sandra) Neri, Domenic Neri, (Ayla) and Anna Neri (Mimmo Galati). Her children were her joy and her life’s greatest pride.

Nina’s love only grew as the family did. A kind and doting grandmother, Nina will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Sabrina (Chris), Daniela (Paul),David (Laura), James, Nicolas (Emily), Sierra, Sophia, and Matteo, and her great-grandchildren Mia, Marcus, Victoria, David, Luca, and Alissa. Each one holding a special place in her heart.

She was a wonderful mother-in-law. Present and kind to each one of them and loving them as her own.

Nina was the last of eleven siblings and is now reunited with her brothers and sisters, and her beloved husband Luigi, with God’s eternal light shining lovingly upon them all.

Nina was a loving Aunt to many; she was there for each one and always made room for them at her table.

She will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the love she shared so freely with everyone who knew her. Her enormous generosity, humor, kind heart, and unwavering devotion to her family will be forever cherished.

Nina touched many lives and was a loving friend to all. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved, and everyone blessed to have known her.

Though our heart aches, and her absence leaves a gap that no one can fill, We find peace in knowing her spirit will live on in each of us. She will be forever loved and never forgotten.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Dr.) on Thursday from 1 p.m.- 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.- 9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church (8500 Islington Ave, Woodbridge) . Entombment to follow at Glendale cemetery.
